Poppy Liu is a lovely, multi-talented, multi-lingual, multi-ethnic beauty who was born in Xi’An, China. She was raised in both Minnesota and Shanghai which gave her a variety of hobbies, languages, and cultures to indulge in. In both countries, she found her way towards acting and performing. She practiced Chinese dance for years when she was a child in Shanghai which was her gateway drug into getting involved in TV and movies eventually. Her on-screen debut came in 2018 when she played Amy Chiang in the hospital procedural New Amsterdam. Then she followed that up with roles as Jo in Better Call Saul, Mei Lin in Sunnyside, Mistress Yin in Mercy Mistress, Steph in To Do, Maisa in Certified Genius, and even a role in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit because every actor has to. She wrote and directed the short film Names of Women in 2017 from which she gained a lot of attention and acclaimed. She plays the dippy and beautiful Kiki in Hacks (2021) on HBO and in one scene she gets a phone call while she is simply hanging out in a low-cut tube top on her couch. Her character loves luxury and is hilariously self-involved. We’d love to be involved with her, too, after watching her cleavage as she sits up and pours herself a drink. When Poppy isn’t acting, she is actually a licensed full-spectrum doula. She loves to get up close and personal with women and we’d love to get that close with her!
