Liniker is a trans star who is about to be a global sensation. This Brazilian beauty has been interested in art ever seen she was a little kid growing up in the countryside outside of Sao Paulo. Her mom and uncles were in a samba rock band, so she was constantly around music which is why she eventually found her way to singing and songwriting as her moniker Liniker e os Caramelows. Liniker Barros, her full name, also studied theater at theater school which helped her add some theatrics to her gorgeous original songs. We want to be in her crew after seeing her play the leading lady Cassandra in her breakthrough role in the Amazon original series September Mornings in 2021. She plays a trans woman who is living on her own in the city for the first time when her ex-girlfriend shows up at her doorstep with a ten-year-old son that is Cassandra’s. She never knew her son existed, so now she has to figure out being a parent to a kid she didn’t know she had!
