You might not remember Susan Anspach from her debut, a bit part in the made-for-TV movie Journey of the Fifth Horse (1966). But we think, neigh guarantee, you’ll never forget her nudity in Montenegro (1981). Born in Queens, Susan studied music and drama at the Catholic University of America before hitting the theater world, where she most notably originating the lead role of rich girl Sheila in Hair. After some TV stuff like The Patty Duke Show and The Doctors and the Nurses, she popped up in some far-out dramas from the dope decade, like The Landlord (1970). But it wasn’t until starring with Jack Nicholson in Five Easy Pieces (1970) that the fine piece of ass made the big time. Her film career includes memorable roles in Play it Again, Sam (1972), Blume in Love (1973), and The Devil and Max Devlin (1981), but by the mid ’80s she’d fallen from A-list to B-movie stardom. Her loss was our gain, as the drop meant a sharp rise in skin for fans to savor. She appeared in all her full-frontal glory in the Swedish comedy Montenegro (1981). It’s the story of a bored but wealthy socialite who falls in love with a bunch of Yugoslavians free love lifestyle. That lifestyle included showering scenes and missionary moments, where we got to see Susan’s boobs. We like her style! She used a double for some full frontal in the TV show version of The Hitchhiker, but after her work as Annie Maxwell in The Slap Maxwell Story didn’t work out, we got to return to slapping our salami as Susan flashed again with an open jacket scene, and a wall sex scene, in Into the Fire (1988). Susan worked sporadically in the 90’s and 2000’s, most recently in Inversion (2010). A lifelong fighter for worker’s and civil rights, Susan died of heart failure in 2018. In her wake, seventies sex machine Susan Anspach left a whole lot of speckled shorts!
