Growing up the daughter of an Army doctor, Robyn Douglass spent her youth traveling all over the world. She was born in Japan then lived in several places in the US before settling in the San Francisco area where she attended an all-girls Catholic School. In high school she started modeling then attended the University of California to study veterinary medicine. Her modeling and acting careers started taking off, so Robyn dropped out of school her senior year to focus on those pursuits. She landed on the cover of Playboy Magazine and had nude pictures of her posted in Hustler Magazine. She sued Hustler claiming they stole the images, and posting one that made Robyn look like a lesbian hurt her modeling career because advertisers were no longer interested in her.
