Best known as the puffy-lipped, puppy-eyed English blonde girl who left convent school to become a 1960s pop star with songs like “As Tears Go By,” multi-faceted icon Marianne Faithfull has always been as famous for her headline sensuality as for her endearing talent. Her romantic peaks and valleys were front page news while she was little more than a teen, a memory that detracts from the legacy of her chesty peaks and valleys, which she first showed off on screen at age 20. The slip of nip in I’ll Never Forget What’s ‘is Name (1967) is a mere prelude to the wealth of fully offered breast, bush, and total bum treat of The Girl on a Motorcycle (1968). She offers viewers all kinds of shots of her beautiful, bountiful bare bod, including a birds eye view of her nips, a close-up of her shapely pair, and a full-screen full-frontal. We’d pay an enormous sum of money to take late ’60s Marianne Faithfull on the back of our motorcycle. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see how her nude body evolved during the ’70s because Marianne’s skinema career began and ended in the late ’60s. She continued to act, though. The ’70s were particularly productive for Marianne, as she appeared in such films as The Stronger (1971), Ghost Story (1974), and Assault on Agathon (1976). Marianne’s had quite the career since then, too, but we have been left with zero nudity. We have had to be Faithfull to her two nude roles from over 50 years ago. Of course, we’re thankful that they exist at all.
