Intense-looking blonde Taaffe O’Connell has been prompting Taaffe pulls since 1975, when she made her screen debut on an episode of Starsky and Hutch. After graduating with a Master’s in Drama from Ole Miss, the ravishing rebel spent the ’70s putting plenty of bounce in jiggle television, even landing an appearance as a ring girl in Rocky II (1979). Unsurprisingly, her monster meat pillows found their way to the slasher genre next when she played a busty nurse who can make your balls drop in New Year’s Evil (1980) but her big’uns hit the big screen for real in Galaxy of Terror (1981). Decades before the land of the rising sun made tentacle porn normal, Taaffe set the world on fire with a scene where she is disrobed, has sex with, and is ultimately murdered by, a twelve foot maggot. Supposedly the controversial scene was added because the movie needed more sex, and that’s what some weirdo came up with. It was even directed by James Cameron. The much more normal, and far clearer look at Taafe’s boobs come in Hot Chili (1985), when she hosts a chili clothes off and lies nude in a bed while inviting a man to join her. Taaffe only works sporadically nowadays, but her memorable double Connells still get us saying “O”–as proven when her Galaxy of Terror footage was recycled for the remake of Not of this Earth (1988). Most recently, Taaffe dumped em out in Ryan Reynold‘s face, for a porn filming scene in The Change-Up (2011).
