Mr. Skin can’t help but love it when he sees an actress’ name that sounds skin-ful when you read it out loud. The effortlessly sexy brunette Tracy Reed started her career out on television, in an episode of The Avengers in 1969, and continued to ply her trade for the most part on the small screen. She has appeared on episodes of The Brady Bunch, The Odd Couple, Cannon, Kojak, The Love Boat, and T.J. Hooker, and she has had recurring roles on such hit series as Love, American Style, Barefoot in the Park, and Knots Landing. Wow, that’s quite a filmography. It’s also quite a long time to make Mr. Skin wait for the ever-elusive 3 B’s. One of her more notable cinematic endeavors, 1986’s Running Scared, which was made back when people still knew who Gregory Hines was, also happened to feature her only skin-tastic scenes. We at Skin Headquarters were thrilled to hear the news, but then quickly wilted when we saw the evidence. It all sadly amounted to little more than some brief ass-shots and about a half-a-second of boob. As Mr. Skin likes to say, beggars can’t be choosers, but after years of watching tawdry TV we thought we had earned at least a good shot of the bush. Unfortunately, that’s all she gave us before she hung up the acting shoes when Knots Landing was cancelled in 1991. Some names may have a naughty sound like Tracy Reed, but in this case you’ll be thankful for the invention of the pause button while stroking your reed to Tracy!
