Blonde and fair of skin, her pouting lips and hooded eyes signifying the promise of sensual satiation, Amanda Wyss didn’t have far to travel in her quest to take Hollywood by storm. Born in Manhattan Beach, California, Amanda made her way to Los Angeles and started performing at local theaters. There, she was discovered by an agent who saw Amanda portray Flora in The Innocents and Rhoda in The Bad Seed. After earning some commercial work, Amanda made her way into film. Hardly in her twenties, her brazen, fresh-faced insouciance earned her a slot in the esteemed ensemble that banded together to make Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). Sadly, Amanda’s skinematic career was downhill after that. Her later credits include CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2001), The Drew Carey Show (2002), These Amazing Shadows (2011), Murder in the First (2016), It Happened Again Last Night (2017), The Watcher of Park Avenue (2017), Badlands (2019), and All Rise (2019).
