After a successful career as a model, with images on the covers of national and international magazines, Italian-born beauty Francesca Dellera (born Francesca Cervellera) was finally noticed by the film industry and premiered her voluptuous figure as Ragazza in Abito Rosso in the movie Grandi magazzini (1986), where she bared her buns in a blow-up skirt. A role in Tinto Brass’s erotic film Capriccio (1987), also known as Love & Passion, showed us even more…a whole lot more. Her character Rosabla Moniconi, or Rosa, introduced us to her bewitching breasts, naughty nipples, posh posterior and furry female part, all within less than a minute. And she does it again. And then does wonderful things for a thin, slightly damp white tank top while wearing no panties and bending over. After a detour to play Princess Topazia in the comedy Roba da ricchi (1987), Francesca landed the lead part of Adriana in the three-part mini-series La romana in 1988. The television program earned over 10 million viewers, and co-starred the legendary Gina Lollobrigida, another Mr. Skin classic beauty. She played two Isabellas on TV, one in the movie Isabella the Liar (1989), and one in the mini-series of the same name, where she reprised her character that same year. Next came the role that catapulted the star into international fame, the part of Francesca in La Carne (1991), or The Flesh, directed by Italian great Marco Ferreri, who declared the actress had, “the most beautiful skin in Italian cinema.” That skin is on full view in the film, encased in amazing lingerie, but also allowed to roam free. With only a few more titles on her resume, the heavenly bodied Francesca has a short but sweet place in our viewing annals.
