Kareen Schröter
Nude

Unexplained exits have always perplexed humans. Where do we go when we die? How does a sock disappear in the dyer? And what becomes of starlets who disappear from the film industry? The latter issue points to actress Kareen Schroter. The Berlin babe found success with the feature film Mein Vater Alfons (1981) and the TV movie Ach du meine Liebe (1984). Although Kareen’s career seemed to be careening, fate stepped in and stopped the fair and freckled ingénue from enjoying onscreen longevity. What exactly happened remains a mystery. Did she walk away from fame on her own accord or was she abducted by aliens? The only thing we’re sure about is that we loved watching Ms. Schroter make her nude debut in Sieben Sommersprossen (1978). Set at summer camp, the teen romance is like an East German version of America’s Little Darlings (1980) — only if Tatum O’Neal and Kristy McNichol flashed their collective flesh in the manner that Kareen struts her stuff in the buff! Indeed, the naked knockout shows off her three Bs as she frolics in a field. That is, when she’s not admiring her bra-clad cleavage in the mirror. Of course, here at Skin Central, we’re partial to her revealing role in Und nächstes Jahr am Balaton (1980). Also known as And Next Year at Lake Balaton, the vacation dramedy showcases Kareen’s bare breasts, bush and buns on the shore. If that’s not hot enough, the hottie cat-fights with a bathing beauty to prove life’s a beach!
