When you begin your cinematic career with a little movie called School for Sex (1968), it’s no secret where you’re going, and the hairy palms at Skin Central like it! Nicola Austin followed that up with Secrets of Sex (1970), where she played The Flicker Flashback Girl. What that means is up for grabs, but it sounds good. As do the titles of her next two flicks, Permissive (1970) and Cool It Carol! (1970), a.k.a. The Dirtiest Girl I Ever Met, where Nicola is uncredited as a stripper. She continued that uncredited career ascent with Naked Woman in Up Pompeii (1971) and continued with such sexploitation sizzlers as Suburban Wives (1971) and Not Tonight, Darling (1971) and others like The Love Ban (1973) and Vampira (1974), where she plays a Playboy Bunny. Her nondescript but hot roles peaked with Adventures of a Private Eye (1977), another British sex comedy, where she played Wife in Bed. The credits fail to note that she’s also naked. You won’t miss that, though. She continued with her bawdy ways into the early ’80s, ending her sexual assault on audiences’ nuts with the appropriately titled Nutcracker (1982).
