Gabriela Goldsmith started her career in her native Mexico’s Skinema, taking on a part in 1981’s The Gambler’s Woman; but anymore, she’s unquestionably one of the most prolific daytime soap opera actresses that country’s ever seen. Think Susan Lucci but with an accent…Gabriella’s resume reads like a what’s what of Mexican television; she’s appeared in everything from Encadenados to Sin ti to Camila, as well as in roughly a dozen other hit series. Thankfully, that’s not all she’s done…Back in 1985, Gabriela took a role in El Hijo de Pedro Navaja. Yes, it was a very special role, indeed! Gabriela’s gracious grapefruits made their only appearance ever on film (They’ve come close since but not quite like this!) during a scene with some lucky muchacho….
