Delaina Mitchell is one of those actresses that shows up in everything. The Huntington Beach, CA, native has done it all, from tiny roles in TV series, to big roles on primetime, to bit parts in big movies. The brunette bombshell started out playing Donald Faison’s girlfriend in the Forest-Whitaker directed Waiting to Exhale(1995) with Whitney Houston and Angela Bassett, and followed it up by appearing with Faison in a 1988 episode of the Clueless series, based on the movie. Delaine also hit up primetime in NYPD Blue in 1998; Frasier in 1999; Beverly Hills, 90210 and Sabrina the Teenage Witch in 2000; ER and Titus in 2001; That ‘80s Show and Strong Medicine in 2002; My Own Worst Enemy in 2008; The Middle in 2011; Hawaii Five-O in 2015; and Criminal Minds and Rosewood in 2016. Not just a pop-up girl, though, she also had the recurring role of Leslie on Scandal from 2015-2016, and as Anna Wallingford in Shooter from 2016-2018. And those are just some of her appearances on the little screen. On the bigger, silver screen, she was The Man’s secretary in The Woman Chaser (1999) with Patrick Warburton; played Tom Cruise’s assistant in Cameron Crowe’s Vanilla Sky (2001) with Cameron Diaz; and starred as Mrs. Chastity Bjornsen in Inherent Vice (2014) with Joaquin Phoenix and Josh Brolin. And then, of course, there was her titillating performance as the fully naked Marie in Flesh Hunters (2000), aka the Human Quality—Mr. Skin is talking full-frontal nudity and not just for a split-second.
