Shannyn Sossamon is a beguiling blend of French, Hawaiian, Dutch, Irish, Filipino, and German heritage, all of which combine to make this dark-eyed delight the best of all worlds. Early-starter Shannyn was living on her own in L.A. at seventeen with ambitions of becoming a professional dancer. While working as a DJ at Gwyneth Paltrow‘s birthday bash, the svelte sweetie was discovered and cast as Heath Ledger‘s love interest in the blockbuster A Knight’s Tale (2001). And it’s been only up from there. She next starred as the temptress who made it extremely difficult for Josh Hartnett to keep his vow of chastity in 40 Days and 40 Nights (2002). Shannyn offered first skin in a sexy nude scene where Hartnett had some great fun fingering her entire body with a feather while she was wearing nothing but black panties and some leaves. Talk about a fashion statement. Check out those perfectly formed and slightly swollen nipples! Now we know why everyone wants to become an actor! Her next role was as a virgin in The Rules of Attraction (2002), and, sadly, there was no more skin than a shot of Shannyn in a black bra.
