After being discovered by Woody Allen while modeling in Chicago, Angel Tompkins started out playing the hot blonde on programs such as Wild Wild West and Dragnet 1967, soon graduating to roles as the hot blonde in movies such as Hang Your Hat on the Wind (1969) and I Love My … Wife (1970). Angel earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role opposite Elliott Gould in the latter, and used a Playboy appearance to market the movie.
