Biography

Flo Lawrence started her career off with a bang, so to speak… In 1973, she took her first ever role on The Silver Screen in the classic campy 1970s Drive-In gem Superchick. Naturally, she was quite overshadowed by the presence of the quite Skinful Uschi Digard, Joyce Jilson and Candy Samples but you have to admit; when Flo flashes her flappers out at the party, it’s pretty hard not to notice! For some unknown reason, Flo dropped off the Skin-o-Scope for a few years, only to resurface at the turn of the decade in 1980’s Don’t Answer the Phone! Again, she pulled her poppers out to play for the part but this time, it was quite a brief exposure. After that, Flo kept herself fairly well covered up in such fare as Schizoid, Hot Chili and The Naked Cage before bowing out of the Entertainment Biz altogether following her bit part in Over the Top in 1987. We’d still like to see a triumphant return to the warm glow of the Skinematic lights but that’s starting to look a bit on the “unlikely” side…
