This comely Canadian kitten first rose to fame in her native land with a gig as “Carmen Tranchemontagne” (Say THAT three times fast!) on the short-lived French-language television series Caserne 24. The series fell flat but Anick Lemay’s career most certainly did not. (Praise be!) A year after Caserne’s demise, Anick landed a more Skinematic role in the 1999 film L’Île de sable. She turned in quite a memorable performance as the older-sister-cum-mother of the lead character, who just-so-happened to be a pregnant teenager. Oh, the social significance! In any case, we here at Skin Central perked right up and took notice of the film, largely due to Anick’s ass-flash about 40 minutes into the movie. Of course, it didn’t hurt at all that Caroline Dhavernas flashed her sweater-flesh and posterior about a minute beforehand… Talk about a way to grab the viewer’s attention! Now if someone will just develop a cinematic invention that will attend to the viewer’s grabbing…
