Kim’s mother is the actress and model Carol Laquerre, who earned the Miss Toronto title in 1976. Born in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada, Kim started modeling and appearing in commercials when she was just a little girl. She appeared in advertisements for Aquafresh, Ontario Tourism, Ontario Place, Bell Canada, Turtles Chocolates, Old El Paso, Toronto Eaton Centre, Pizza Pizza, and Ford. When Kim was fifteen, she was considered for a leading role in the series Breaker High, but when casting asked her to remove her tongue ring, Kim refused, so she wasn’t offered the part. Thankfully, the budding bad girl eventually made her way to the boob tube in 1996 with a guest role on PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal. When Kim was all grown up, she started stripping down onscreen, and audiences were thrilled. Kim shares the beauty nature gave her in The Rats (2002), admiring her small wonders in the mirror.
