Biography

The heavy-hootered Jana Bellan made her movie debut in George Lucas’s classic American Graffiti (1973). But unlike co-stars Richard Dreyfuss, Ron Howard, and Harrison Ford, the buoyant Bellan was destined for a short career laden with B-movies and cop-show guest spots. Aside from a few appearances on Starsky & Hutch and Barnaby Jones, jiggly Jana is known mainly for her work in titles such as Cry R— (1973), Six-Pack Annie (1975), and Black Heat (1975), in which she divulged some killer cannage during an interracial sex scene. That was pretty much the full extent of Jana’s career, but we’ll always have that one bounty of blaxploitation boobage to remember her by!
