Biography

Actresses don’t go more underground than Beatrice Manowski, who began in German television (the 1987 series Hafendetektiv) and quickly moved on to the notorious film Nekromantik (1987). This legendary film features Beatrice–billing herself as “Beatrice M.”–as the eerily-understanding girlfriend of a necrophiliac. Beatrice was still able to return to mainstream television and films, though, including a very hot turn on the 1995 TV series Und tschüss!
