Blonde Brit Pippa Steel is aptly named, since you’ll be harder than an I-beam after eyeballing this busty beauty in films like The Vampire Lovers (1970) and Lust for a Vampire (1971). Pippa was born in Germany but raised in London, where she first took up acting in an episode of Katy. A bunch of bit roles in films like The Jokers (1967), Cop-Out (1967) and Guns in the Heather (1969) followed, before she hit the big time in the fangbanging flick The Vampire Lovers (1970). Directed by Roy Ward Baker, most famous for helming A Night to Remember (1958), it features such acting legends as Peter Cushing, Douglas Wilmer, Ingrid Pitt and Kate O’Mara, and became very well known for having a ton of lesbian action, which was quite rare in the early nineteen-seventies. Its a vampire flick so there’s garlic, crucifixes, capes, sunlight and every other trope. But logic will be replaced by hope once you see Pippa on screen. Hope that she will take her top off, mostly. But have no fear, after we see Pippa making out with the sex panther Ingrid Pitt, although they don’t quite do it, the undead got Miss Steel to undress when a doctor pulls her shirt down to check on her heart beat. Beating off to Pippa’s pair of plus size pillows? Check. Pippa moved on to Dracula (1958) director Jimmy Sangster‘s not quite sequel to The Vampire Lovers, Lust for a Vampire (1971). If you’re a fan of tittes and bloodsuckers, lust is an absolute must, largely because this one wasn’t afraid of doing the girl on girl thing either. Pippa goes for a full frontal skinny dip in that one, unveiling A-plus bush before she starts craving type O negative. That was the highlight of Pippa’s career, as she only sporadically acted in movies like Young Winston (1972) and on TV shows like Kelly Monteith, and Dear John until she died of cancer in 1992. Never a household name, thanks to her pretty face and jigglng jugs Pippa Steel stole every scene she was in!
