For such a singularly sexy woman, Julianne Christie has mostly been cast as a supporting player, appearing in a little bit of this, and a little bit of that. She made her feature-film debut as a Fresh Nug in Pauly Shore’s Encinco Man (1992), back when “Fresh Nug” was a term of endearment. Julianne’s two big gigs on TV included a series regular role as Corinne O’Boyle in Public Moral in 1996, and in the mini-series Murder One: Diary of a Serial Killer (1997). She also took on a rather risqué role in 1993, playing Patty Constance on the series NYPD Blue. She’s caught in a hotel tryst by Sipowicz, and she jumps out of bed fully naked. This might not seem like a big deal, but it’s primetime, folks, in the US, on a major network, in the early ‘90s.
