A deceptively still pond of blonde, the eternally graceful actress Eva Marie Saint seems to effortlessly radiate a simultaneous depth of beauty and familiarity. She is the very picture of sophistication! Her subtle skills have enabled her to play the gorgeous girl next door, as in her Oscar-winning film debut opposite Marlon Brando in On the Waterfront (1954). Soon after, she sprung her disarming charms on Cary Grant in Alfred Hitchcock’s definitive thriller North by Northwest (1959). Over on the boob-tube, the versatile actress appeared on productions spanning from Campus Hoopla (1946-1947), Versatile Varieties (1950-1951) and One Man’s Family (1950-1952) to Taxi!!! (1978), Moonlighting (1986-1988) and Frasier (1999). She even won a Primetime Emmy for her performance on the miniseries People Like Us (1990).
