Gerti Drassl is the reason Italy looks like a boner. When you’re the birthplace of honeys as sweet as Gerti, you’re not going to be able to contain your pleasure. She first tuned our instrument with a bit role in the drama The Piano Teacher (2001). We prefer her work in more provocative features, such as The Whore’s Son (2004) and The Bone Man (2009), though that latter film may not translate into what we think it does.
