Rule Britannia for immortalizing London lass Luan Peters on film. During her skinematic heyday, the voluptuous ingénue was promoted by the size of her bust (a pants-rising 42”) but she later said her proportions were not that profound. Regardless, Luan’s lungs made her a star. In fact, the stacked songbird fronted the bands Karol Keyes and the Big Sound and 5000 Volts before boning up on drama at the Theatre Royal Stratford East. Armed with beauty and talent, Ms. Peters launched her film career with the British B movie Not Tonight Darling (1971). We’re assuming the Bs stand for bare breasts, buns and bush because that’s what she touts in the tub! In addition to her screen stints, Luan continued to perform in stage plays. Indeed, the sexy thespian could be seen playing Linda McCartney in the theatrical musical John, Paul, George, Ringo … and Bert (1974). As a scream queen, the sultry starlet paraded her nude booty in the horror flicks Land of the Minotaur (1976) and The Flesh and Blood Show (1972). The latter also had her exposing her dead-sexy chest! After flashing her flesh in the comedy The Wildcats of St. Trinian’s (1980), Luan shook her nude boobs on the beach in the racy romp Pacific Banana (1981). Imagine your banana beside those melons! Throughout the years, Luan sizzled on stage (Dirty Linen), on film (Man of Violence, Freelance, Vampira) and on TV (Doctor Who, Coronation Street, Albert!), so it was sad to see her pass away in 2017.
