Cassandra Harris was more than just a Bond girl; she actually married the suave secret agent! She divorced Pierce Brosnan in 1991 after more than a decade of marriage, but they were man and wife during the filming of For Your Eyes Only (1981). Though Roger Moore was Bond at that point in the long-running series, Brosnan would soon pick up that stirred-not-shaken martini. Meanwhile, Cassandra added some unintentional nudity to For Your Eyes Only via a nipple slip while wearing a slip. That’s the only nude scene of Cassandra’s career, which, although it wasn’t as long or acclaimed as her famous hubby’s, was still notable. Before getting pierced by Brosnan, Cassie was a stage actress in her native Sydney, performing in the farce Boeing Boeing from 1964 to 1965. She then took a long break from acting, presumably to focus on her first marriage, which lasted from 1964 to 1970. Her second marriage, to Dermot Harris, also kept her out of the industry–that is until 1977, when she appeared in an episode of the sci-fi series Space: 1999. She was divorced the next year, which finally allowed her to pursue her passion. Her first film was 1978’s The Greek Tycoon. From there, she appeared in the shows Shadows, Dick Barton: Special Agent, and Enemy at the Door. She married Pierce in 1980, became a Bond girl, and then appeared in several episodes of his show Remington Steele before retiring from acting in 1986. This Aussie is sadly no longer with us, but at least she left behind some nip to remember her by.
