Black hair, brief nudity . . . sounds like Mr. Skin’s kind of girl. Monique Gabriela Curnen was born in Massachusetts, but, as you may have guessed by her name, she doesn’t descend from there. Monique’s mother hails from Puerto Rico and her father is of German/Irish descent. This multinational madonna made her movie debut in 2001’s Bollywood Calling, but Hollywood was her true calling because by 2008 she was appearing as corrupt detective Anna Ramirez in The Dark Knight. She corrupts our pants, all right, but doesn’t show any skin worth mentioning. To take a peek at naked Monique, we’ll have to take you back to 2006 and the movie Half Nelson, an arthouse drama that contains Monique’s first and only flash onscreen. About an hour into the film Ryan Gosling is goosing Monique’s naked sacks. There’s no half nelson in this scene, but Ryan probably has a whole boner! We wish we had more nudity to report from Ms. Curnen. Even her roles in dark TV series like Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, Lie to Me, and Power produced no skintillating scenes. Neither did the films Fast & Furious (2009) and Contagion (2011). There’s still hope: Monique continues to work, recently in the NBC crime-drama Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector and the Netflix sci-fi series Away, and she’s set to appear in the 2020 drama Troubled Waters and currently-in-production films iGilbert and The Patrolman. You better believe that we’ll be patrolling all three films for Curnen’s sexy skin.
