The daughter of actor Gerardo de Francisco and sister of writer and actor Martín de Francisco, Colombian cutie Margarita Rosa de Francisco began her career as a model doing commercials before she was selected to compete in the Miss Colombia pageant. She placed second, which allowed her to participate in Miss World 1985. Since then she has appeared in the telenovelas Gallito Ramirez, Los Pecados de Inés de Hinojosa, and Café con aroma de mujer.
