Raven-maned minx Heather Matarazzo first blasted into public consciousness playing dowdy pre-teen Dawn Wiener in Welcome to the Dollhouse (1995). Luckily, this Long Island native grew up, grew out, shed her dorkiness, and blasted into pubic consciousness with more grown-up fare. Born on November 10, 1982, on Long Island, Heather started acting at age six after grabbing the mic at an AIDS benefit for children. Thanks to her spunky spirit, she was given the card of a talent manager, and the rest was history. After she made a splash in Welcome to the Dollhouse, which earned her an Independent Spirit Award, Heather appeared in Strike! (1998), 54 (1998), and Scream 3 (2000) before landing a large role in The Princess Diaries (2001) and its sequel, alongside Anne Hathaway. Anne’s eagerness to bare must’ve rubbed off on Heather, as she popped her top and showed off some torturously tasty teats in Hostel: Part II (2007). She may be bound and gagged and hanging upside down, but at least we get to appreciate every inch other skin. And her guest spot on Sapphic series The L Word (2007) was no joke — Heather’s a real-life lesbian! Looks like she truly has outgrown Wiener! Some of her more recent credits include works such as Are You Afraid of the ’90s? (2016), Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot (2018), Smothered by Mothers (2019), Billboard (2019), The Fiddling Horse (2019), The Estate (2020), and Equal (2020).
