Adult video star Asami Ogawa is a household name in her native Japan, at least to the houses who appreciate the naked female form (Mr. Skin raises his hand with pride). Born in Niigata, she was most prolific in in her entertainment ventures in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, appearing in over 30 titles from 1979-1981, with a solid handful of others through 1984, and a few stragglers after. One or her earliest roles was that of Asami Suzumura in Erotic Diary of an Office Lady (1977), directed by Masaru Konuma, known for his “pink film,” aka X-rated, features. In the flick, Asami the character engages in numerous sex acts, showing off her titillating twosome, loads of creamy skin, and her shapely ass. The brunette starlet took a decidedly more comedic role as Yoko in another diary adventure, this one in the medical field. For the flick Nurse Diary: Wicked Finger (1979), Asami is a giggling bundle of boobs and ass, with puffy nipples and tiny bikini panties. And a hat; a very large hat. You can also see the hottie in numerous other Japanese pink films, including six = directed by Konuma. A few of her more popular parts include playing Utae Amakawa in Raging Hell Fires(1977), Misa in Eros School: Feels So Good (1977), in the role of Kumiko Kawai in Attacked! (1978), Kiyomi in Star of David: Hunting for Beautiful Girls (1979), and as Saeko Miyaji in Convent Rope Hell (1984). While all of these are excellently named, Mr. Skin has a special fondness for one of Asami’s last roles, playing Kaori in the delightfully titled Horny Diver: Tight Shellfish (1985).
