In the world of movies, sex and violence go together like peanut butter and bananas fried up in a sandwich. Creating that combo in a violent teen drama, brunette babe Jocelyn Binder provides some much-needed sexuality in the hard-hitting martial arts flick Never Back Down (2008). It’s a pretty basic Karate Kid (1984) update about a hotheaded high school football player who gets beat up by the blonde, popular, MMA fighting bully at his new high school. But while kids may have thrown sloppy haymakers and sloppy girls may have made out with each other for dude’s attention at the high school parties we went to, it was nothing like in the movie. See, at this school not only is the bully an elite fighter who pulls off ninja moves we barely see in the octagon, but the sexy girls slutting it up look like Jocelyn. Yes, as a topless girl in a hot tub making out with another, equally busty and equally topless girl, Jocelyn had us beating off before the beatings started. But, in an example of art not imitating life, the two girls suddenly get shy when a video camera comes out. What happened to “never back down,” girls? Don’t worry, in real life the onetime Playboy coed of the week was not as shy as her movie counterpart. Jocelyn got it up, and it’s never gonna go back down! Jocelyn only acted two more times: in the film noir about South Beach models dropping like flies Murder in Miami (2014) and the Marilyn Manson video Kill4Me (2017). Should’ve been “the beautiful people.” Good luck to the bras and bikinis out there. Jocelyn Binder’s jugs can’t be bound!
