Okay, so this is a long shot, but bear with Mr. Skin for a second. Remember the movie The Patriot (1998) with Steven Seagal? He played Dr. Wesley McClaren, trying to stop a lethal virus. In the movie, he had a hot assistant. That assistant was Ayako Fujitani. Now here’s the good part—Ayako is Steven’s real-life daughter, from his first marriage to Miyako Fjitani, an akido master. Yup! That grunting, gun-toting dude created this masterpiece of a maiden. Born in Osaka, Japan, she also spent time in Los Angeles, where she mastered her English and got intrigued with the entertainment industry. Other than her spot in her dad’s flick, her first three movies were playing Asagi Kusanagi in the Japanese monster movie trilogy Gamera: The Guardian of the Universe (1995), Gamera 2: Assault of the Legion (1996), and Gamera 1999: The Absolute Guardian of the Universe (1999). She also starred in a few other movies before she got naked in a segment of the 2008 triptych Tokyo! called “Interior Design,” where she bares boobs and butt running down the street. While all this was going on, Ayako was also writing. She’s a published author of novellas, short stories, and essays, with her work appearing in various Japanese national publications. In the US, you can admire her as the recurring character Kyoko in the TNT TV series The Last Ship in 2016, and as Yuki in Amazon’s Mozart in the Jungle in 2018.
