Anne Louise Hassing is a Danish actress, which means she’s a sweet pastry we all want to eat. Born in Horsens, Denmark, on September 17, 1967, Anne made her film debut in 1992 as the leading lady in Pain of Love. Director Nils Malmros auditioned hundreds of girls before choosing Anne to play a depressed student who’s carrying on an affair with her teacher. Thanks to her emotional performance, Anne earned both the Robert and the Bodil awards for Best Actress. Anne went on to work as a bartender in Denmark while studying at the Danish National School of Theater, which led to her career on stage. Now Anne is an award-winning thespian for her role in The Idiots (1998). No dummy, her, she knew that the critics wouldn’t be able to resist her nudity, so she gets naked a lot.
