Radeo Suicide. That’s her name. But do you know what a SuicideGirl is? It’s a whole culture, started back in 2001 by a hot babe named Missy, who realized there are a lot of alternative pin-up girls out there who don’t necessarily fit the stereotypical ideas of feminine beauty. They go by the belief and vibe that, “What some people think makes us strange, or weird, or fucked up, we think is what makes us beautiful.” They have a website, a big one, and lots of fans—over six million of them on Facebook, and almost 10 million followers on Instagram. The girls come up with a pseudo moniker, each taking on “Suicide” as their last name, with the idea that being different is to commit “social suicide,” but no longer. They do photo shoots, post pictures (the site has over 13 million of them), interact with fans (over 57 million comments), and even have a live burlesque show. They also do videos, like SuicideGirls: Guide to Living (2010), where Radeo can be seen in all her naked glory. You’ll note she has some tattoos, and she’s gotten even more since this video was made. Her breasts are pierced and decorated with stars, her back is mostly covered by an animal-print looking pattern, she’s got a full sleeve, a full leg, and a collar. She’s also got “Vita Bella” tattooed just above the promise land, and life is beautiful indeed, when you’re watching her partake in a pillow fight, then skinny-dip. Erect your transmitters, gentlemen, because this Radeo’s putting out some pretty strong signals. (It was right there. It had to be said.)
