Lucy Gordon

Jean Seberg, Margaux Hemingway, Karen Friesicke, Dana Plato, and maybe Marilyn Monroe are cinematic sirens who — despite their fame, fortunes and drop dead gorgeous looks — wound up killing themselves. Unfortunately, Mr. Skin must add lovely Lucy Gordon to this list. Although she tragically hung herself in her Paris apartment just two days before her 29th birthday, the British beauty seemed to have it all. With her freckled face and sleek physique, the sexy stunner was strutting her stuff on camera. As a model, she graced the covers of Italian Glamour and Elle magazines as well as becoming a face of CoverGirl. Typical of many before her, Lucy moved her pretty assets into the movie industry. The alluring ingénue made her film debut in Perfume (2001) with Mariel Hemingway, Michelle Williams, and Rita Wilson. She then appeared alongside Kate Beckinsale, John Cusack, and Bridget Moynahan in the holiday romance Serendipity (2001). After popping up in The Four Feathers (2002) and Spider-Man 3 (2007), the foxy hottie sizzled in the indie flick The Last International Playboy (2009). Yet all of these parts pale compared to her revealing role in 2010’s Gainsbourg (Vie héroïque). Also known as Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life, Joann Sfar’s French drama features Laetitia Casta, Anna Mouglalis, Mylène Jampanoï, Sara Forestier, Ophélia Kolb, Deborah Grall, and Lucy’s skimpy skivvies! While playing English starlet Jane Birkin, the skintastic actress briefly bared her breast and bum in the bath. Alas, the film proved to be her last. Oh, what could have been.
