Biography

Charlaine Edith Karalus was a clerk in the subscription department for Playboy magazine when she caught the eye of Hugh Hefner and was asked to strip for a pictorial in June 1955. She took on the ironic name of Janet Pilgrim, took off everything else and bared her 36-26-36 body for the camera. Hef liked what he saw, and made Janet “Playmate of the Month” three times between 1955 and 1956, making her one of the two women who hold that distinction. This pilgrim will put a Plymouth Rock in your pants!
