You might say Kate Elizabeth Young comes from a very practical family and some of that has worn off on the otherwise free spirit. Raised in Texas by a mother and father who were both analysts for the government, acting and Hollywood were a long way away from what Kate knew as a kid. As she got older she started getting more and more into acting and music, eventually moving to New York where she has worked steadily in movies and TV shows. When she is not acting, the practical side comes out as she works as a career and business coach for actors and entertainers.   Kate appears in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. When the police show up at her house, she comes to the door with her robe open letting us see her in her bra and panties. It’s a sexy surprise from an otherwise pretty straight-laced show.
