Biography

Funny lady Lauren Lapkus is an actress, podcast personality, comedian, impressionist, and overall hottie! After graduating from DePaul University and homing her craft at Chicago’s iO theater, she moved to New York for the Upright Citizens Brigade. But her big break didn’t come until she moved to LA where she was cast as security guard Susan Fischer on the Netflix series Orange is the New Black (2013-2019). The part nabbed her a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. As Jess in HBO’s dramedy Crashing (2017-2019) Lauren exposes her left breast while attempting onscreen sex with Pete Holmes. But when she suggests they 69, he says he’s not into multitasking. Of course, Ms. Lapkus is able to lap up several jobs at the same time. Her recurring roles on TV ensure she can be seen on The Big Bang Theory (2018-2019) and heard on American Dad! (2016-2020).
