Move over, Betty! Alys Crocker is the most delicious little damsel around. (So. Many. Good cookbook twists Mr. Skin could add: rising dough, recipe for success, hot buns, baked goods—wait, did he just use them all up right here? Aw shucks!) Anyway, Alys is a dark-haired, blue-eyed beauty from Canada. She’s mostly known for two things: horror and romance. But she did throw a few other genres in there, too, like sci-fi. She bares her butt—quite a lot, actually—as the alien-abductee Annabelle in Gray Matter (2018). On the fantasy side, she plays Linda Maron in Big Gold Brick (2022), a US production that filmed in Canada with stars Lucy Hale, Megan Fox, and Andy Garcia. And Mr. Skin can’t forget to mention her part as Hailey in Astonishing Tales of Terror: Rocktapussy (2021). In the romance category, she’s been in a slew of those PG and G television movies that run on the Hallmark Channel and Lifetime and the odd network at weird times of the day. They usually have puppies and flowers, flirtations and chaste kisses, and some sort of touchy-feely epiphany. Christmas is a big sub-genre for Alys, and she’s starred in A Very Country Christmas (2017), Mistletoe Magic(2019), A Very Corgi Christmas (2019), Christmas by Chance (2020), Boyfriends of Christmas Past (2021), and UnPerfect Christmas Wish (2021). And lest you feel like the other times of year have been cheated, there’s also Autumn Stables (2018) and Home for Harvest (2019). Awww. How sweet. Like a chocolate chip cookie. Or, hot buns.
