Chart topper, show stopper, and an absolute heart dropper when you get one look at this stunning and multi-talented beauty!  Andra Day was born in Spokane, WA but moved to SoCal when she was just 3 years old and around that time, pretty much when she learned to talk, she began singing in her church’s choir.  Since then, she has been an absolute one-woman wrecking crew of insane talent ripping through film/TV/music worlds with her voice leading the way!  In 2010, the wife of legendary Motown star, Stevie Wonder, heard her sing at a mall and within the year, she had a record contract.  That became a theme for Andra, catching eyes, because in 2014, she performed at Sundance Film Festival and caught the eye of Spike Lee, who went on to direct one of her music videos from a song on her hit album.  The album itself garnered her some Grammy noms for the single “Rise Up”!  That’s all well and good, but the stunning Andra Day is now poised to be a megastar and we are all on board for her to be a big name in the business we call show.  Sometimes a role comes along that an actress was born to play and for Andra, that role was as musical legend Billie Holiday in The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021), which has garnered her two Golden Globe Nominations, for which she took home the prize for Best Actress, Drama.  Andra doesn’t shy away from showing some skin in the biopic too, to which she shows all 3 of her B’s in multiple scenes while portraying the tragic legend.  Sometimes an actress just embodies a character so thoroughly and Andra Day did just that and she’s about to be a household name because of it!  Kudos, you comely chanteuse!
